Flag-to-Flag Win for Burton at Vegas
Jeff Burton put on a show at Vegas, dominating the Sam's
Town 300 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Sarting from the
pole, Burton led for 149 of the event's 200 laps and won
going away, outdistancing Michael Waltrip by some eight
seconds. Burton now has four career wins at the Vegas
track, two each in both the Busch Grand National and
Winston Cup series. Johnny Sauter came home in the third
position, while Kevin Lepage and Jeff Green rounded out
the top five. Jack Sprague finished sixth and took over
the BGN point lead, leading two-time champion Randy
Lajoie by three points
