Vanna White will join Stacy Compton and the Team Conseco
crew as Honorary Crew Chief for the Sunday running of
the NAPA Auto Parts 500. White spent time with Stacy and
Vickie Compton, filming creative segments for
"NASCAR Week on the Wheel" at Las Vegas, and
accepted Compton’s offer to host White and her
seven-year old son Nikko at California Speedway.

Lap #19 - Shawna Robinson spins in turn 4 and
catches fire, the fuel burns off and goes out .... She
restarts and gets into the pits.
Stacy Compton lead during this CAUTION,
Stacy said he did it for "Crew Member"
Vanna White!
Ryan Newman pit a couple times.
The catch can was left in Greg Biffle's car, he
had to go in for a penalty.
Ricky Craven, Kevin Harvick, Rusty Wallace and Dave
Blaney only took on 2 tires.

lead, Dale Jarrett, Sterling Marlin, Jimmie Johnson,
Rusty Wallace, Tony Stewart, Bill Elliott, Jeff Gordon,
Michael Waltrip, Ricky Craven, Ricky Rudd, Mark Martin,
Dave Blaney and Jeff Green are the 13 leaders
and the only cars on the lead lap.
-- Lap 125 - Tony Stewart is in the pits FAST with
broken throttle linkage ... They open the hood. He was
penalized for speeding on pit road, he had to drive
through the pits. (looses 3 laps)
-- Lap 136 - Kurt Busch is now 17 seconds ahead of
2nd place Dale Jarrett
-- Lap 137 - Dale Earnhardt, Jr. pits for a
flat right front tire.

#141 - Ricky Craven skims the wall.
Dave Blaney and Michael Waltrip topped of their gas
before the restart.

Lap #146 (after 5 caution laps) Dale
Jarrett leads, Kurt Busch, Sterling Marlin,
Jimmie Johnson, Rusty Wallace, Bill Elliott, Ricky Rudd,
Jeff Gordon, Mark Martin, Michael Waltrip, Dave Blaney and
Jeff Green are the leaders and the only 12 cars
on the lead lap.

Fords) Michael Waltrip, Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Green, Mark
Martin, Sterling Marlin, Bill Elliott and Jeff
Gordon are all on the lead lap and round out the 12
top with 51 laps to go.
-- Lap 208 - Rusty Wallace (Defending champion),
falls off the pace the gets the Miller Lite Ford back up
to speed
-- Lap 220 - Kurt Busch leads again.

Lap #228 -Dale Earnhardt, Jr. and Kevin
Harvick wreck HARD ... Jr. is MOVING ... Thank you
God. He got out of the car with help, but looks hurt.
Kevin was trying to pit due to a flat tire and he
came down on Jr. Kevin also got out of his
car and appears to be okay. Kevin came out of the
infield and said he thought Jr. Was okay. He will be
held for more observation.
Kurt Busch, Ricky Rudd and Dave Blaney and
most of the leaders took 2 tires, Gas only for Jimmie
Johnson. Rusty Wallace took 4 tires.
Bill Elliott did not stop.
