-- Lap 1 - Robby Gordon was black flagged for jumping the start, he goes into the pits for a stop and go.

CAUTION 1 Lap #4 - Buckshot Jones gets contact from Steve Park and Buckshot hits the wall and spins.

RESTART Lap #8  (after 4 caution laps)

-- Lap 10 - Tony Stewart and Michael Waltrip get together, Waltrip skims the wall.
-- Lap 31 - Jimmy Spencer takes the lead as the leaders hit lapped traffic.
-- Lap 33 - Ward Button is off the pace with an ignition problem.

CAUTION 2 Lap #42 - Stacy Compton spun and hit the Inside retaining wall.

OH Lovely, the SPRINT Commercial with the Petty's ... I love Kyle, but Sprint ... ?

RESTART Lap #48 (after 6 caution laps) Jimmy Spencer, Jeff Gordon, Matt Kenseth, Mike Skinner and Jeremy Mayfield are the top 5.

CAUTION 3 Lap 52 # - John Andretti wrecked after contact from Kevin Harvick.

Michael Waltrip had to pit several times, Tow out.
Ryan Newman re-pit due to damage from contact.

RESTART Lap #56  (after 4 caution laps-14 total)

-- Lap 62 Jeff Gordon regains the lead.

CAUTION 4 Lap #81 - Steve Park spins.

The leaders pit (via turn two pit road @ 30 miles per hour)
Sterling Marlin hit one of Casey Atwood's crew members, the crew member limped his way over the wall.

RESTART Lap #88 (after 8 caution laps-21 total) Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Jeff Burton, Dale Jarrett, Mark Martin and Joe Nemechek did not pit and lead, Jeff Gordon is in 6th with Jimmy Spencer, Stewart Kenseth and Rusty Wallace rounding up the top 10.

-- Lap 88 - Brett Bodine is behind the wall for repairs.
-- Lap 88 - Ward Burton makes contact with team mate Matt Kenseth.  
-- Lap 95 - Jeff Burton takes the lead from Jr.

CAUTION 5 Lap #117 - Hermie Sadler wrecks in turn 3 after contact from Bobby Hamilton, Dale Jarrett was caught up in this.  

RESTART Lap #124 (after 7 caution laps - 28 total) Jeff Gordon, Jimmy Spencer, Tony Stewart, Rusty Wallace and Matt Kenseth, Sterling Marlin and JERRY Nadeau are the top 7 :)

CAUTION 6 Lap #132 - Sterling Marlin gets into Johnny Benson, Benson spun and wrecked hard.

RESTART Lap #139 (after 7 caution laps - 35 total) Jeff Gordon, Jimmy Spencer, Tony Stewart, Rusty Wallace and Matt Kenseth, Sterling Marlin and JERRY Nadeau continue to lead.

-- Lap 140 - Jimmy Spencer retakes the lead.
-- Lap 148 - Dale Earnhardt, Jr. "tapped" Robby Gordon out of his way, great save by Robby Gordon

CAUTION 7 Lap #158 - Jeff Gordon wrecks into the turn 2 wall. Jeff said "It just spun right on me guys," -- Jeff went low into the apron, this appears to have caused the spin, he has considerable damage.

Jerry Nadeau had damage getting out of the pits, he had to re-pit.
Mike Skinner was to fast on pit road and has to start at the tail end of the longest line.

RESTART Lap #164   (after 6 caution laps - 41 total)

CAUTION 8  Lap #165 - Hut Stricklin hits Joe Nemechek

RESTART Lap #175 (after 9 caution laps - 47 total)  Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Mark Martin, Ryan Newman, Ward Burton and Kurt Busch are the leaders

CAUTION 9 Lap #210 - Tony Stewart nudged Ryan Newman, Newman has serious damage. Rick Mast and Jeff Green get caught up in this.

Jeff Gordon is parked behind the pit (what you would call the garage in Bristol!), Doing serious work on the car.
14.9 second pit for Dale Earnhardt, Jr.

RESTART Lap #218 (after 8 caution laps - 55 total) Tony Stewart, Jimmy Spencer, Jimmie Johnson!, Matt Kenseth and Sterling Marlin lead on the 9th restart!

-- Lap 224 - Jeff Gordon 18 laps down in 36th.
-- Lap 250 - Tony Stewart leads at half way.  Jerry Nadeau is racing hard he is now up to 3rd!  GO Jerrrrrry!!
-- Lap 255 - Longest green flag run so far today!

CAUTION 10 Lap # 282 - Ryan Newman spun after contact with Jeff Burton, Dale Jarrett had no where to go and hit Newman

Everyone on the lead lap pits.
Casey Atwood and Matt Kenseth were blocked into theirs pits and lost many positions.
Jerry Nadeau lost 7 positions, due to lug nut problems.

RESTART Lap #289 (after 7 caution laps - 62 total) Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Tony Stewart (reports feeling sore), Jimmy Spencer, Bobby Labonte, Kurt Busch, Mark Martin, Rusty Wallace, Jerry Nadeau, Sterling Marlin and Ward Burton are the top 10.

-- Lap 308 - Sterling Marlin, the current points leader has a right rear tire is down. There is damage to the right rear quater panel.  He goes 2 laps down.
-- Lap 327 - Jeff Green is in the pits, not sure why.
-- Lap 329 - Ward Burton is off the pace.
-- Lap 332 - Todd Bodine is suited up and ready to take over for injured Tony Stewart, Stewart has a lower back injury from last weekends wreck at Darlington.

CAUTION 11 Lap #342 - Hermie Sadler, defending champion, wrecks after contact with Kyle Petty.  Due to the smoke Steve Park got into Robby Gordon and Gordon spun.

Tony Stewart stayed in his car, But Crew Chief Greg Zipadelli said he did not know if he would make it, he is in serious pain.

RESTART Lap #360 (after 18 caution laps - 80 total) On the lead lap are .... Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Kurt Busch, Tony Stewart, Jimmy Spencer, Bobby Labonte, Jeremy Mayfield, Jeff Burton, Rusty Wallace, Ricky Rudd!, Kevin Harvick! Jimmie Johnson, Mark Martin, Ricky Craven, Jerry Nadeau, Terry Labonte, Matt Kenseth, Mike Skinner, Casey Atwood, Dave Blaney, Kyle Petty, Steve Park and Sterling Marlin are the top 22.

CAUTION 12  Lap #365 - Tony Stewart spins, and EVERYONE missed him .... wow!  Todd Bodine gets into the #20 Home Depot Pontiac. Tony really looked like he was hurtin'.  They did the driver swap and stayed on the lead lap, great job by the #20 team!  Then he got a penalty for speeding on pit road and was held for a stop and go.  Joe Gibb's team owner said Tony is just REAL sore.

RESTART Lap #374 (after 9 caution laps - 89 total) Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Kurt Busch, Jimmy Spencer, Bobby Labonte and Jeremy Mayfield are the top 5.

CAUTION 13  Lap #409 - Steve Park and Stacy Compton spin, no contact.

Kurt Busch stayed out and took the lead.

RESTART Lap #415 (after 6 caution laps - 95 total) Kurt Busch, Jimmy Spencer, Jeremy Mayfield, Ricky Rudd and Jerry Nadeau! lead on this restart.  Dale Earnhardt, Jr. was the leader before this caution but he pit and now is in 8th, right behiond Kyle Petty! Great day for Petty!

-- Lap 442 - Jimmy Spencer re-takes the lead, Kurt Busch pushed Jimmy out of his way and regained the lead, Spencer got REALLY Loose.  Great save Jimmy!
-- Lap 462 - Jeff Burton is in the pits ... vibration, think the steering is possibly broken

CAUTION 14  Lap #479 - Hermie Sadler cut a tire and hits the wall.

RESTART Lap #485  (after 6 caution laps - 101 total) Kurt Busch, Jimmy Spencer,  Ricky Rudd, Dale Earnhardt, Jr. and Bobby Labonte lead with 15 laps to go!

-- Lap 492 - Bobby Hamilton has trouble and gets caught in the center line, no one hit him!

Robby Gordon rammed right into Dale Jr. on pit road.  Jr. is a tad ticked!
